Pinterest is an online pinboard which is a visual take of the social bookmarking website which is founded by Evan Sharp, Ben Silbermann, and Paul Sciarra in 2010. It is not similar to the other social bookmarking websites because the content which is shared on Pinterest is entirely driven by the visuals. In simple words, the users can’t share anything on Pinterest if it doesn’t have an image. Each bookmark on Pinterest is known as a pin and when the user shares someone else’s pin, and then it is known as repin. The users can even group pins the images together by the topic on various pinboards. It even allows the users to share images which are found online or you can even upload them directly. It has a Pin It button which allows the users to share the images directly on any web page or browser.
