HyperText Markup Language, HTML developed in 1990 by Tim Berners-Lee. This language is used for creating the electronic documents which are displayed on WWW (World Wide Web). Each electronic document, a page incorporates the series of connections, hyperlinks. Every page on the Internet is being written using one of the HTML code versions. The HTML code ascertains the text and image formatting in a proper way so that the Internet Browser displays them as are meant to be looked.
It is a document-layout and hyperlink-specification language, i.e., a language used to design the layout of a document and to specify the hyperlinks. It tells the browser how to display the contents of hypertext document, i.e., the documents, including images, text and other media. The language also tells how making a document interactive through special hyperlinks.
